The building of Propaganda Fide, a few steps from Piazza Mignanelli, Via Frattina and via Condotti, is located on the obligatory route to the Trevi Fountain, Galleria Sordi-Piazza Colonna, San Lorenzo in lucina, Piazza Barberini and Via del Tritone. The building was the first seat of the Pontifical Urban College for the education of Catholic missionaries and from the beginning also served as the seat of the Sacred Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith (Propaganda Fide), founded in 1622 with the Pope’s Bull Inscrutabili divinae Gregory XV. The Palace dominates the entire square, overlooking the flow of tourists that comes from Piazza del Popolo, Via del Babuino, Via della Croce, Via Margutta and goes towards Via Frattina, Via Belsiana, via Condotti and Piazza Mignanelli.
