The Valdese Temple of Piazza Cavour is a place of Christian worship located in Rome, in the Prati district, in Piazza Cavour. It was built between 1911 and 1913 and, within its complex, there is also the seat of the Waldensian Faculty of Theology. It is the work of engineer Emanuele Rutelli and architect Paolo Bonci and is in neo-Romanesque style with decorative elements in ‘Liberty style’. The frontispiece of the building is characterized by the facade, placed between two cylindrical bodies that have the task of connecting the latter to the adjacent buildings, taking up the decorative elements.
The intervention consisted in the restoration of the plasters and stuccoes of the facades, the consolidation and waterproofing of the domes and the roofing of the building. The restoration also includes the restoration of the damaged windows, as well as the cleaning of the mosaics of the main facade.
