“The Flagellation of Christ”, a legacy of the Neapolitan production of the sixteenth-century painter and among his most evocative and fascinating works, has been displayed to the public at the Reggia di Monza, thanks to the temporary transfer of the canvas from the Museo Nazionale di Capodimonte, where it has resided since 1972.
The painting is among the principal treasures of the Neapolitan state collections and is part of the Heritage of the Buildings of Worship Fund (FEC). Urban Vision, as one of the main sponsors of the initiative, contributed to the exhibition of the masterpiece at the Reggia di Monza. The funds raised for this extraordinary event were also channeled into other conservation and enhancement initiatives for assets and artworks owned by the Fund.
